Who we are

Kendall is the owner of Kendall Barbie LLC
Kendall began her career in 2003 when she accepted a leadership position with San Francisco based Benefit Cosmetics, at their location in the small beach town of Capitola CA, only a few minutes away from where she spent her childhood. Having been intrigued by makeup application her whole life, she immediately excelled in the retail cosmetics world, combining her ability to connect with people and her love of the art.

Kendall spent over ten years in the world of retail cosmetics, holding many positions including her favorite-- being an educator which allowed her to travel to many places around northern California. She has worked with the brands Benefit, NARS, MAC, Trish McEvoy, Rock & Republic, Smashbox, Laura Mercier, and more.

In 2013 Kendall moved to Fargo and decided to get her esthetician license, and leave the retail world. After getting her license she spent some time traveling around the southwest and west coast, and ended up back in Fargo to begin the new chapter of her career. She worked as a waxing specialist for two different salons, before opening her own waxing business in 2018.

What we do

During her entire career in makeup and waxing Kendall had always been known for her attention to detail especially with eyebrows. In 2019 she took the obvious next step and studied microblading at Texas Laser & Aesthetics Training Academy. Her microblading quickly became recognizable, as her style is unique, and now she is one of the top recommended artists in the FM area.

Kendall Working with a client

Kendall not only is an amazing, inclusive and considerate person, she’s also an incredibly talented artist. It’s like she can look at your brows and instinctively know what you want and what would suit you best. A pleasure to work with and always makes me feel so comfortable and beautiful!! A gem in Fargo, for sure.
Once Kendall showed me what she was thinking for my brows,  I knew I had waited to get microblading done for all the right reasons.  She's an artist with vision,  and she's the ONLY one I'd trust for this process. I'm obsessed and so happy I waited to get bladed by the best.
Kendall is amazing. From waxing brows/face/bikini/brazilian- she rocks. I never thought I'd rave about who I went to for waxing services, but since meeting Kendall, I refer all of my friends to her. I was reluctant to venture into microblading, but after seeing all of Kendall's killer client results, I went for it and am so happy I did. My brows look natural, and perfectly filled in. She is truly skilled at her craft (and is a wonderfully fun and kind human). Will absolutely continue going to her.

  • What is microblading?

Microblading is a form of tattooing without electricity.  Small “hair strokes” are created with a sterilized disposable hand held tool. With microblading you can achieve a fuller brow, add back parts that are missing, or achieve a lifted look with an optical illusion. A full look is created in two sessions 6-8 weeks apart, and annual maintenance is required after.

  • How long does microblading last?

Microblading retention is based on a wide array of factors. Age, skin type, sun exposure, skin care routine, and many other things affect the longevity of your service. Most get an annual touch up every 9-24 months. Your initial microblading should be a minimum of 50-70% faded before an annual touchup in order to avoid scarring, or over saturation of pigment. In the fading out period, many find using a brow pencil to be helpful for the last month or two.

  • What is the healing process and recovery time?

Most people are actually less red than a brow wax when they leave, you may return to work/life directly after. Initially your new microbladed brows will seem very extreme, dark, or big. Give yourself time to adjust to them (physically and yes, emotionally) during the healing process. Brows will externally be healed in 7-10 days, but the color will keep lightening a bit until your second “finishing” session. At this point we can adjust the color and depth for your ideal finished result. Please refer to the post-care section for more info.

  • Who is a good candidate for microblading?

Almost everyone can benefit from microblading. People with certain heart conditions, some immunocompromised people, those prone to hypertrophic scarring, and people with severely oily skin may all be at a higher risk for complications. All of this can be discussed in your consultation.

  • How old do I need to be to get microbladed?

    18 no exceptions.

  • Can I get microblading if I'm pregnant or nursing?

I will not tattoo a pregnant person, if you are breastfeeding it is best to consult with your physician .

  • How do I book an appointment?

Please book a consultation online at and we will set your initial appointment up at that time.

  • Are children allowed in the studio?

Please arrange to come to your appointment without children as the space is small and sanitation/safety regulations need to be maintained.
